Mobile Osteopathy in Syros

Professional mobile osteopathy in Syros for pain relief, improved movement, posture, mobility, and overall well-being.

I provide personalised hands-on osteopathic care in the comfort of your home or hotel. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, whether you are experiencing back pain, neck pain, muscle tension, postural discomfort, pregnancy-related changes, stress-related tension, headaches, or restricted mobility.

My approach focuses on understanding how your body moves and functions as a whole, rather than simply treating symptoms. Treatment may include osteopathy, pre- and postnatal osteopathy, craniosacral osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, myofascial therapy, and trigger point therapy.

Meet your Osteopath

I graduated in Osteopathy with First Class Honours from the University of Derby and the College of Osteopaths in London.

My UK training included over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical practice, working with a wide range of patients and musculoskeletal concerns — from back and neck pain to sports-related strain, postural issues, pregnancy-related discomfort, and long-standing pain patterns.

I use structured assessment methods, including movement evaluation, orthopaedic testing, neurological screening where appropriate, and personalised hands-on treatment. My approach is calm, professional, and focused on helping you understand your body while supporting better movement and function.

Now based in Syros, I provide mobile osteopathic care for residents and visitors across the island.

  • Muscle tightness or tension
  • Stiffness or reduced mobility
  • Shoulder, hip, knee, wrist, ankle, or jaw discomfort
  • Nerve-related arm or leg symptoms
  • Headaches related to tension, posture, or neck restriction
  • Sports-related strain or overload
  • Pregnancy or postpartum discomfort
  • Stress-related tension
  • Postural discomfort from desk-based work
  • Recurring pain that affects daily movement

Osteopathy supports the body’s natural ability to heal, adapt, and regulate itself. Pain, stiffness, tension, and restricted movement often develop when the body is under physical, postural, emotional, or lifestyle stress. Over time, joints may lose mobility, muscles may become overactive or guarded, fascia may tighten, circulation may be affected, and the nervous system may become more sensitive.

Osteopathic treatment aims to identify these patterns and gently stimulate the body towards better balance and function.

For back pain, neck pain, joint discomfort, headaches, muscle tension, sports-related strain, pregnancy-related changes, postural problems, or ongoing pain, treatment focuses on improving movement, reducing restriction, easing excessive tension, and supporting the systems involved in recovery.

Rather than forcing change, osteopathy works with the body. Through structural, craniosacral, visceral, myofascial, and trigger point techniques, treatment can help improve mobility, calm the nervous system, support circulation, reduce muscular guarding, and encourage the body’s own self-regulating mechanisms.

The goal is not only to ease symptoms, but to help your body function with more comfort, freedom, and resilience in daily life.

HOSPITALITY WORKERS

Working in hospitality often involves long hours, repetitive movements, and physical strain on the body. I help reduce pain, improve recovery, and support resilience so you can stay energised, prevent injuries, and continue performing your role comfortably and efficiently.

OLDER ADULTS

As the body changes with age, mobility, balance, and comfort can decline. I focus on gentle, safe treatment to improve movement, reduce pain, and support independence, helping you stay active, confident, and maintain a better quality of life.

OFFICE WORKERS

Long hours at a desk often lead to back pain, neck tension, headaches, and poor posture. I help restore movement, reduce strain, and improve body awareness so you can work comfortably, prevent recurring issues, and maintain long-term spinal health.

TOURISTS / VISITORS

Travel can place unexpected stress on your body through long journeys, new activities, or poor sleeping conditions. I help relieve pain, restore mobility, and keep you active so you can fully enjoy your stay without discomfort or physical limitations.

ACTIVE PEOPLE / ATHLETES

Whether you train regularly or enjoy staying active, injuries and overload can limit your performance. I help optimise movement, support recovery, and reduce pain so you can move efficiently, prevent injuries, and continue doing what you enjoy without restriction.

PRE & POSTNATAL WOMEN

Pregnancy and the postnatal period place new demands on the body, affecting posture, pelvic balance, breathing, spinal mobility, and muscular tension. I offer gentle osteopathic support to help relieve discomfort, improve movement, and support your body’s natural ability to adapt, recover, and regulate during and after pregnancy.

Whether you live here year-round or are visiting for a short stay, mobile care allows you to receive professional hands-on support without travelling.

I provide mobile osteopathic visits across Syros, bringing treatment directly to you.

Appointments are available at home or a hotel. This is especially useful for residents with pain or limited mobility, visitors staying on the island, busy professionals, pregnant or postnatal patients, and anyone who prefers treatment in a familiar environment.

How It Works

  • Contact me by phone, WhatsApp, Viber, or book online.
  • We briefly discuss your symptoms and arrange a suitable appointment time.
  • I visit you at your home or hotel with the equipment needed for assessment and treatment.
  • Your session includes an osteopathic assessment, personalised hands-on treatment, and simple advice where appropriate.

Mobile appointments available across Syros, including Ermoupoli, Vari, Finikas, Galissas, Megas Gialos, Posidonia, and Kini.

What to Expect During Your First Appointment

Your first session begins with a discussion about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. I then assess how your body moves, checking areas such as posture, joint mobility, muscle tension, and movement patterns.

Where appropriate, the assessment may include orthopaedic or neurological screening. Treatment is then adapted to your individual needs and explained clearly throughout the session.

You may also receive simple advice, exercises, or movement recommendations to support your progress after treatment.

Professional Standards

My osteopathic training was completed in the United Kingdom, where osteopathy is a regulated healthcare profession governed by the General Osteopathic Council.

I practise in accordance with UK osteopathic education and professional standards, and I am also a member of the Panhellenic Osteopathic Association in Greece.
